The Horizon Is My Destiny

I set sail,

On a lonely boat,

Away from home,

I slowly float,

Searching for a revelation,

That doth set my spirit free;

Far from the existence,

That did break my knee.

I know not where I go,

I know not what I’ll see,

All I know is,

My body aches for,

What my soul does seek.

The chains are broken,

I spread my wings,

The choice I make,

Gambles with my life, as stake.

I trade my prison for a virgin trail,

Naked and unashamed, I tread,

Leaving footprints, to be judged by history.

I am scared no more,

I am vulnerable no more,

No challenge shall I forsake,

No obstacle shall I cower to;

Realization has now dawned upon me,

The Horizon is My Destiny.
